One Billion Rising will happen in Lamanzanilla at 8:00 P.M. Feb. 14. We have permission to celebrate in the Jardine and the sound system and chairs have been arranged. Music and Dance! This is a call to action. There will be an organizational meeting at 10 A.M. tomorrow, Wed. at Hector’s Cafe also known as Cafe del Mar on the corner to the south west of the Jardine. One Billion Rising is a world wide event of celebration of the right of women and children to live in a world free of violence and rape. If you are not able to attend the meeting please notify us through the board or ronblett@aol.com and let us know how you would like to help or perform. write announcement for sound truck design poster distribute posters perform etc. ?? thank you |
