This year a Gringo Day Committee has been formed. Co-chairs are Alison R. & Terri M. David Godin is stepping down after organizing this event for 31 years. Thank you Dave for your many years of dedication to this event.

February 7th, our day of celebration is meant to be selfless act of paying back to our community. We collect the funds to put on this day of celebration ... we make the birrea, which WE (meaning you) will serve to our Mexican neighbours. Please don't think the townspeople do not appreciate & understand why we are hosting this day for them ... They do!! Do you?

Remember "we" are "Thanking all our Mexican friends", the townsfolk for sharing their wonderful country with us; for their hospitality, kindness & friendship; for allowing us to settle/stay/visit and live alongside them.

Let's join together "with enthusiasm" to show our appreciation on February 7th at the Casino.

Doors will open between 1:45 and 2:00.

Don't forget the evening of February 6th ... Gringo Day Farola, Ponche & Dancing in the Streets.

Try the Guava ponche, the recipe comes from Lupita Rutherford's family, it has been handed from generation to generation. Thank you Lupita for sharing your family recipe with us.
