David Godin (AKA The Great Godinni) deserves more than just a mild mention for the 31 yrs of work on the Gringo Days ..... He invented it ! Although Dave hasn`t had alot of cash to donate to charities etc he donated with his heart , time and his hands and always made sure the proceeds went to the right places . I remember one year when the kids in school didn`t have running water in the bathrooms ( picture that ) Dave made sure money was spent running a water pipe to the school and I think he even helped dig the trench. I can go on and on..... Dave gave to the community before it was fashonable and all the so called big time fund raisers showed up in town. 31 years ..... think a little more about that . I think all you J come latelys owe him more than some mumbling hey thanks .... Buy the man a dinner at least , slap him on the back and say thanks for helping La Manz develop as well as it did . He had a lot to do with it . Just thought you might like to know a little history.
