2013 started off wet, with an unusual New Years rainy spell. We got 0.92"/23.3mm on Jan 1 & 2, then nothing more the rest of the month. That's a new record for January rainfall, beating the old one of 0.34" in 2010. Average January rain (2004-2012) is 0.07". The temperatures were a little cooler than normal, but not too cold yet. And certainly not too dry! Highest max temp: 83.8F/28.8C on the 25th. Average max temp: 80.5F/26.9C. (2004-2012 Jan avg max temp is 82.5F) Lowest min temp: 67.5F/19.7C on the 5th. Average min temp: 70.3F/21.3C Highest max RH: 89% on the 2nd. Average max RH: 84.9% Lowest min RH: 63% on the 10th.
