To the Volunteers at Gringo Day Luncheon

Muchas Gracias, Amigos! I would have sent this message to our list of serving/ladling volunteers but I saw it was no longer accurate when I looked around at so many faces above the aprons that I knew had not signed up in advance and had showed up with trays and ladles. What a jolly crew you all were and so willing to do what was needed from crying over onions to scrubby grubby tables to clearing basura after serving! One of the best parts was that there were enough of us to enable us to take breaks for dancing, sitting, eating birria, and sipping cervesas. Everything went so smoothly. June and Ginger were super to work with and we all heard many positive happy remarks from Gringos and Mexicans alike. I sure hope you will hold a spot on your LM calendar for volunteering at Gringo Day 2014. If, as a server, you have constructive comments to share, please email me using the envelop above.
