I'm so grateful that Saralynn was not more seriously hurt.

I'm concerned about the process of contacting the police in an emergency. I went initially to Pelapa Joe's to ask someone to call the police and was told by a staff member that the police number was not working. Then a friend there used her cell phone to call the number and got a message in Spanish. Someone said something about the telephone equipment having been stolen?! I then cycled over to the Delegation building and fortunately there were several police members who agreed to go to the scene. All this took some time and poor Jo Anna was the whole time hanging on to the perpetrator's motto to keep him from fleeing! Not an ideal situation.
