Hi Taking the opportunity to tell people that they can combine their worthwhile trip to "Las Hoyas", the little waterfall, with a stop to see a wonderful work of art which I'll call the shell house. I can't overstate the wonder of this tiny home with walls covered from top to bottom with shells. All the people who have seen this true marvel can't believe their eyes and I can't understand why this discovery hasn't been made public. I don't know what the other 7 wonders of LM are, but this definitely a wonder. I've gone several times to the waterfall and always stop in to visit with Hortensia, the pie lady. Several times she took us to the pools and then we would stop afterwards for pie and viewing of her exquisite walls. She lives by the river on the way to the pools. I got Hortencia's permission to put on the Message Board that she is willing to take people up to the falls and/or to let them visit her home. She speaks pretty good English.
