Cihuatlan Incident?

Talking with a Mexican, and she says there was recently an incident in Cihuatlan involving a fight between the police and narco-traficantes. She says 3 police officers may have died in the fight.

Apparently, there are a lot of soldiers there now, and it is recommended not to drive through Cihuatlan at night, as there has been a threat of retribution.

Not sure how true it all is... haven't heard anything through official sources. Maybe it's just chisme? Anyone heard about this?
