I, too, went to the Aduana in Manzanillo after I received my new FM3 (or whatever it is called now) and they updated the car permit to expire in 3 years when the new FM3 expires. I took an interpreter. Aduana is REALLY HARD to get to. I am not sure the permit is completely legalized yet because they are supposed to send me something by Email which I have not received--it has been ten days.
