It is simply amazing what goes on at this clinic. The love and care that goes on for all of these creatures is evident to all who come in. I only volunteered for two days but I felt exhausted because of all of the emotions at seeing dogs and cats in such a state. And then there was the 8 year old girl with her dog "Canica" (marble)that gave me a big smile and a big "gracias" for not hurting her dog. One thing I loved this year was seeing the actual owners, many in their teens, actually doing the cleaning of the ears and removing fleas and ticks. It is a great learning opportunity and who knows maybe the making of future Veterinarians.
