These are not strictly La Manzanilla people, but people here might know them.

Yasmín is a very friendly young woman who speaks English and has worked at Rooster's restaurant in Melaque. Her lively sister Suzie, works at the French bakery restaurant in Barra de Navidad. Amazingly positive, upbeat girls!

Ramón works at the Melaque Pemex station near the crossroads at Ranchito. A super-friendly, nice guy, he lived in the U.S. for awhile and speaks English very well. Ramón would give you the shirt off his back, and in fact he has for me!

We didn't know Yasmín and Ramón were a married couple till we saw them on the street today in Melaque.

You don't meet such nice positive people like this all the time... and to see them together -- perfect couple!
