Come one, come all to the 9th annual “A Night under the Stars” auction & party in La Manzanilla’s main plaza! As we have a jam-packed night, with activities starting at 6pm, we are provided an anticipated show schedule below, so you can make sure you don’t miss any of the acts you would most like to see…. 2013 Show Schedule * 6:00-6:15 Silent Auction opens &Dinner served 6:15 – 6:40 Welcome & Overview of night Songs by Huicholes Regatta winners announced by Director of Casa de Cultura La Huerta Kinder kids perform songs in English 6:40 – 7:00 BlueBay professional dance show 7:00 – 7:05 Lora Loka song 7:05 – 7:15 Thank you for teachers & donors 7:15-7:25 First public showing of 7-minute La Catalina Foundation video featuring computer lab project (film made by Miriam Henze) 7:25 – 7:40 Myranda: guitar class, piano class and Triskele Celtic Duo 7:40 – 7:50 Scholarship students present short speeches 7:50 – 7:55 Elementary school kids song 7:55 – 8:15 Women’s folkloric dances 8:15-8:20 50/50 Raffle Drawing 8:20 – 8:25 Lora Loka song 8:25-8:30pm Announcements about silent auction 8:30 – 9:30 Local live band with dancing 9:00 Silent auction closes 9:30 – 10:00 Winner pick up prizes from silent auction *schedule subject to change 80 pesos gets you dinner, a drink and a bidding number! Silent auction prizes can be paid for with dollars, pesos, or with a credit card and must be picked up between 9:30pm-10pm. Donations will be accepted for the silent auction up until 6pm on the day of the event (Saturday, Feb. 23rd)…including new and used items, art, jewelry, appliances or fill out a certificate that we will have on site to offer a service you can provide.
