I think that this kitty is #49 from last Tuesday, who was given to a man named Jerry (tall, guitarist, Ajijic connection). When I asked him about #49 a few days later, he said that she had soon escaped and jumped a wall...although he had been given clear instructions to keep her inside for a week. Because he showed no real interest in trying to rescue her, my hope is that she finds a more loving home. (If it's her, my prayers for her well-being have been answered!)
