In case you are wondering:
As I was going into Melaque today I stopped in front of the gate at the ranch where the dog was chained and the horse was wondering around looking for help.
Everything is gone. There is no sign of the chain, water buckets or food bowls.
I am finally relieved that this nightmare is over, but I will probably never know what actually happened.
I have a feeling that the actual owner of the ranch finally got his brother to do something. I doubt the dog is alive, but hopefully the horse has a better place to live.

And thank you Susie for taking that adorable calico kitten that was spayed at Cisco's Amigos and then abandoned home to Friday Harbor. These are the ending we love to hear.
