Chance of sprinkles

The slight weather disturbance in our part of Mexico will continue for the next couple days, giving us a slight-to-moderate chance of sprinkles or light rains. The Weather Underground forecast for Manzanillo (http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/hdfForecast?query=manzanillo%2C+mexico&searchType=WEATHER&MR=1) says 20% today, 60% tonight, 30% tomorrow.

We had a brief sprinke or two last evening, but not enough to register in our rain gauge (takes 0.02" to toggle the little teeter-totter inside.) If we do get any measurable rain this month, it will be the first rain for March in the La Manzanilla records since they began in June 2004.

There were pretty heavy thunderstorms last night along the coast to our south last night according to the TRMM radar satellite (http://trmm.gsfc.nasa.gov/trmm_rain/americas/americas_3hrly_zoom.gif), but most of it was way down off of Michoacan and Guererro states.
