I know the woman and her son (he is 11 months old) and I also posted on the message board a while back that it seemed odd to me that 2 (possibly 3) babies had been born with leg deformaties in the same area - reminded me of the Thalidimide babies of the 60's. I had no response to date but it seems worth investigating further. If anyone knows of other children born in LM or surrounding areas with limb deformaties, it would be good to gather some data. Stephanie, I will pm you with more details.
