My husband and I just had a fabulous supper salad made of the organic greens from the school garden -- red leaf lettuce, arugula, tender chard, etc. Delish! Huge thanks to Julie Catton for driving me from the writing group to the jardin to look for my cane, then taking me to the home of the young woman in charge of the jardin, who hopped in Julie's car to take us to the office where she'd taken the cane! To her and her visiting mother (whom I met helping out at the garden) I wish a wonderful time in Oaxaca this coming holiday week. I'm impressed with the great networking in lovely, joy-filled LaManz. Kind of reminds me of home -- Prince Edward Island, Canada. We're sorry to have to leave La Manz after six weeks, but we'll be back!
