I response to choosing who you let know about La Manzanilla. Some years
ago I was working with some buyers who in my opinion were not the
kind of people who belonged in La Manzanilla. They seemed rule orientated,
people who wanted to bring the world they left to La Manzanilla vs coming
to La Manzanilla for what it is. I was explaining my feelings to a friend
of mine who said "you were once new too". It turned out that they were just
as able to adapt / learn as anyone. The lesson for me was I should not judge,
I don't have enough information. Seems the people who are supposed
to come here end up here one way or another.
It has been 13 years for me and I am still learning, hopefully it
doesn't take everyone that long.
