A vacationer here once told me that the fears of getting sick from "not washing with the disinfectant" will make you more sick than the actual problem in the water. I took their advice some 12 years ago...I wash in tap and rinse lightly with bottled...not a problem since. But I also take the advice of the locals and annually take a pill to combat any micro-organisms that may invade from other food sources.
