Mike, thank you so much for making the clarification so clear. It is indeed sad to hear of this incident. As a dog owner I would be horrified if this happened to me.

And yes, you are right, there is another thread asking for gas money for our two local motorcycle patrolmen who make their rounds both day and night. Why we are not getting more money from LaHuerta to help in this situation is not known by me.

The "transitos" were brought in to help with the increased violators of the existing MPH through town...those little motorcycles that go between the topes at alarming speeds. One person was hit by one in January I believe. So they do serve a purpose. I am sorry to hear that one of them had such a bad attitude.
