Yes, thank you for the clarification, Mike. And as you have found and with our present experience, there are good and bad apples everywhere. At present, the Delegado is getting rid of the bad apple that appeared in the present crew and, hopefully, getting a good apple as a replacement. But the real goal of the Delegado is to get our own locally grown, good apples, police crew. This would avoid getting the 'unknown' elements sent by La Huerta, of which some have been excellent. But one bad one can be horrendous as we well know. Who can fathom all the politics involved in acquiring our own local force, but, I for one, would support the effort. La Huerta President, Julian De Niz, is coming to LM on Saturday, June 8th. Perhaps a community meeting could be held. We could present our security needs and why our community wants a local police force that is familiar with our area, its residents and the ends and outs of our town. As a tourist community with expat residents, we provide a substantial income to the county at the same time that we become targets for the criminal element which exists in any place, the 'bad apples'.
