Hi Elke, Yes, in La Huerta, after I went to the office they looked at the papers then sent us to a mechanic there in town for the emissions test. The test cost 450 pesos and the guy was really good. After passing we went back to the office and they entered it in the computer and gave us the registration and plates. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Karen
