Thanks, Isa, for putting this on the message board and Stephanie and those at the bookstore for the support. I took a picture of Guadalupe today in the after school art classes that she attends which you can see below. Guadalupe is only 6 years old, is sweet, vibrant, curious, loving and fortunately seems to not be worried about her medical condition (the tumor that has developed in the back of her head). Just wanted to add to Isa’s post, that with the help of this amazing community, money was raised for Guadalupe’s medical test. They found out the tumor was not malignant. From what I understand, she fortunately won’t need surgery but will require a series of treatments where they inject medicine to help reduce the tumor size. So the family is still in need of financial support to be able to carry out their daughter’s expensive treatments. Her father paints houses and work is very sporadic right now and the mother sells food in front of the primary school.
