Una ambulancia para la gente

Last night Herman Garcia and I drove the new ambulance from Gaudalahara to La Manzanilla. We've had to overcome a lot of obstacles and frustration, but it's finally here! There are still some things to be worked out before we can put it into service (licenses for the drivers, etc.) and we will need some additional equipment and supplies in order to get the service up and running smoothly, but the hard part in done. I want to thank the people who have helped with their encouragement and their donations. We now have some sources for maintenance and fuel, but we will need your help in fully equipping the unit. If you can help, please do. There is going to be an ongoing need as supplies (oxygen, bandages, antitoxins etc.) are used up. We will be tooling around town the next few days (just showing off) and I hope that you get a chance to check out the new ambulance Again, thanks so much for your help. |
