I know what you mean, Daniel. Sometimes the official warnings and predictions just sort of "cry wolf." It looks like this storm stayed quite compact (small diameter,) so its effects didn't extend out from the center far enough to affect La Manz very much.

The TRMM radar satellite shows the last week's rainfall accumulation:

It looks like La Manz was right outside the edge of most of the rain. The accumualtion along the track of the storm center was only 8-10", with La Manz's location showing maybe a 3-4" accumulation. It's hard to read the image that finely. (And remember the last week also included some rain before TS Dalila approached.)

I sure wish they would repair the weather radar station at Cuyutlan. This satelite data is for the birds! (Although I have fond memories of working on a small piece of the TRMM satellite back in the early 90's; it's amazing this bird is still kicking!)
