We just had a bout of fairly strong off shore winds and some rain, it has calmed down for this moment. Earlier when viewing the horizon on the ocean you could see that there were big waves out there, like huge. As the storm gets directly off shore those big waves will be coming into our beach, along with the high tide at 11 am that is when it will be interesting ocean wise. The waves are already starting to get bigger but not by much. As for the blobs, I now call those picnic clouds, whever they are around you can pretty much bet there will be no to little rain. The hard rain comes when there is nothing on the weather map (semi joking).
