Hoping someone will let some of the locals know of these fotos - I realize that not a lot of them have access to the web. Gracias compadres... David Rutherford (not looking too happy) with Dave Godin (is he farting and could that be the reason for Dave's look?) Dave Godin & his dog, Ginger, over at Los Angeles Locos beach. They say pet owners start to look like their dogs. hmmm... Arturo Sanchez in his farmacía (which used to be directly across from the Cazador Hotel) Almost every day in mid-afternoon, most or many of the gringos in town (of which there were maybe 25 tops at any one time I would guess) seemed to gravitate to the shade of the big front step outside Arturo's pharmacy to partake in refreshments and be regaled by Arturo's entertaining stories and chitter-chatter in the background. Some of my most enduring memories of what life was like in LM back then are of these occasions... L to R: Bill (hidden behind Brooke), someone, Cassandra (in blue), Gail (in pink gesturing), Alison (flashing the peace sign) and my great amigo, Wayne Morgan (he, I and Dave Godin are Univ. of Guelph alumni). Wayne and I shared a room for 3 weeks in the Cazador hotel that March, the bottles of Kahlua really started to pile up... ahh, the memories... hic* Rebeca with a much younger Gilberto Covarrubias outside Arturo's
