Welcome back Bret! I hope your rain record can be restored - it would be a shame to lose the continuity of that data. When none of the discussions, etc. give much of a hint about what's happening on the coast I go to this: http://smn.cna.gob.mx/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=35&Itemid=71 It's pretty reliable as a guide to how much rain we'll get in any particular part of the country and is updated at noon every day. There have been multiple small disturbances traveling up the coast from southern Mexican for about a month but none have developed into anything exciting until they were north of L.M. Still two months left in the hurricane season though, so it's good you're back!
