Hi Patti...there is one dog which I cared for last season. She's been on the street for some time and her name is Smiley or Bella. Daniel the realtor know her and so does Kate. We all have been involved in her care. She visits Daniel quite a bit. She is a loving dog desperately looking for some permanence in her life. Daniel called her Smiley because she has this little smile that lights up her face. She is a good guard dog and boy was I glad to have her around when the "machete man" came to my door. She's quick to learn...I trained her on a leash. The key is of course, she has to adopt you not the other way around. She lives on the street and probably needs some cleaning up. I don't know where you live, but, she loves the beach and likes to be in her established territory. Also, the house I rent every year is an upper Mexican duplex and she does not feel enclosed there and was quite happy to look out on the road from our living room which is a covered balconey. If you are interested in knowing more you can email me back or I will be arriving in La Manz Nov. 4 or 5 and I know she will be wanting to stay with me again.....laurisa
