Thanks to everyone who offered via email. We've finalized arrangements now. Funny story about our email address, Daniel: back in the 90's we used to visit a little village south of Zihuatanejo called Barra de Potosi, and were good friends with a family there. We tried to get beach_bums from Yahoo, but it was taken. Thus we chose barra_bums. It sort of still works for around here, right? PS, I wish I never used the underline character: that's been a lot of hassle, especially here in Mexico. But it's not worth opening a new account just to fix that! PPS, if you ever need to spell an email address over the phone here in Mexico, the underline "_" is called "guion bajo", and the at symbol "@" is called "arroba". Learned those the hard way. PPPS, good luck finding these symbols on Mexican keyboards; they're not all the same. |
