Hi Laurel. I've booked and bought tickets with Primera online several times and had no problems. Tried the website again just now and didn't see any problems (you do realize that you have to get the bus to Melaque, verdad?) As for what time to get the bus in south PV, it probably takes the bus no more than half an hour to come from the terminal near the airport to the pickup point, so if you were wanting to take the 12:15 for example, you should be get to the corner of Aguacate and Carranza accordingly. True, there are quite a few bus lines stop there, but I doubt you'll miss the monster first-class Volvo Primera when it pulls up (see Jim's photo). You'll no doubt see several other "gringos" there in your same situation so quite easy to ask questions. There is a "Primera" lady there wondering around that deals with getting you on-board. You should probably find here as soon as you get to the corner, as she's in contact with the terminal/driver to let them know how many ppl. are there for pickup, etc., just in case they blew your reservation. I just showed her the ticket printouts and all was good.

A warning. Hold on to your little one tight for the first hour and a half for the endless switchbacks and speed bumps coming out of PV - the bus really lurches around rather violently at times. Then the road is not bad at all. To answer your other question, like most buses, there are 2 seats on both sides of the aisle. Note that they also have several tv's on the bus, so be ready for telenovelas or spanish subtitle movies (I like them!). When you book with Primera, you choose your seats and can see where the tv's are in the graphic. Obviously, I wouldn't pick a seat too close to los banos at the back. You'll see there's an option to choose adult or minor, so yes you have to book a ticket for your daughter. Yes, the bus is first class. So buena suerte...
