For some additional information: Dave and I contacted our Shaw Digital TV representative and were told that on May 31st a THIRD satellite was put in place that ONLY serviced Canada. The other 2 satellites are still in place (as our contact said, they weren't inclined to send anyone up to turn them off) and it is through those 2 original satellites that we, in Mexico, receive TV.

We were also told that up until May 31st, Shaw Digitial TV provided service to Mexico (and as far as South America) - and it was OK to tell them you were here - BUT NO MORE. No longer will Shaw digital TV provide service outside of Canada.
