...Sue Sisken and i just returned from visiting Nancee at the hospital...She is very tired and weak but hopeful that she will be able to come home in a couple of days, depending on what her platelet counts look like tomorrow.......She was so appreciative of all the fun and thoughtful gifts and cards that so many sent along plus healthy snacks and drinks!...huge thanks to Linda Mandala for the loan of some cozy clothes (after 3 days in a hospital gown that didnt close at the back and was about 3 sizes too big for her)...Wish you could have seen her face as she read each card and opened each gift...she was truly moved to know that so many care....such a sweet woman, por supuesto! ...If you would like to call her, the best way is to call314-137-1281 extension 113... So, in the true spirit of the Holidays, thanks again to all for sending so much love and well wishes her way! Hopefully, she will be home very soon.
