I have used the MapMyWalk app on my phone and it says the beach is 3.5 miles from the rocks on one end to the rocks on the other end. If I remember correctly, it is about 1.9 miles from Pedro's to the broken down hotel. I have also done the walk to the water fall and it was 3.48 miles roundtrip from the Jardin. I am not sure how reliable these numbers are but they are probably close.
