We usually are unable to use the Melaque ATM machine on the right(as you face them), but OK with the left(sometimes needs several insertions of our U.S. card. Never had problems with Chihuatlan. But do watch for IVA tax and Bank charge on deposits as of Jan.1. to your bank acct. This month we transferred U.S. dollars to our Banamex account electronically to buy a car and had a big surprise charge by Banamex(10%of deposit) as well as IVA tax. The IVA is probably due to the new gov. rules assuming all deposits are due to Mexican income--even transfers from foreign banks! We will talk to the manager next week to clarify these charges.
