Stephen, the first class was great - about 32 participants AND one more "lead" than followers (dance class participants will appreciate the significance of that statistic - it's rare) Stephen could have been overwhelmed by those numbers, but he managed all of us really well; and I heard people saying that now they would feel confident to show up at a salsa dance party, and get out there, doing the basic step and having fun...yay! He also taught us the merengue, to finish up the evening. It is such an easy dance, and you can throw in any of your fancy turns without a problem. You can do this dance to Mexican banda music, too. All round, an excellent class, held in the most romantic setting, the Dagoli's palapa roof, at sunset!
