He is an absolute joy to have on the field. One day a young boy toting a bat and ball,was overhead talking to himself on the way to the ball park. When he arrived on the field, he loudly announced "I AM THE GREATEST BATTER IN THE WORLD". To prove his statement, he tossed the ball into the air, and swung his bat ferociously. "STRIKE ONE" he yelled out. Undaunted he again tossed up the ball, and again he swung and again he called out loudly--"STRIKE TWO". Now the boy paused, he contemplated the ball, adjusted his cap, spit into his hands and rubbed them together. Once again he shouted out proudly"I AM THE GREATEST BATTER IN THE WORLD". Focused and determined, he threw the ball high, and as it descended he swung with all his might--and MISSED--STRIKE THREE. "YES, YES, YES", he happily cried, "I AM THE GREATEST PITCHER IN THE WORLD"
