Dengue Fever

I'm just sending a brief note that I arrived back in Canada on Jan. 8th and my symptoms of dengue began on the 10th. Dengue ( non hemorrhagic) was confirmed today by the Head of Infectious Disease here in Winnipeg. I was in La Manz during the 6 days of rain although the mosquitoes were very active even before that time. I stay in a casita behind the church. Did anyone else contract dengue?
