TAXES AND PERMITS etc The current Federal Government has seriously stepped up efforts to collect taxes, licensing fees etc. As most of you know, as usual, foreigners do get “preferential” treatment, ie they will check on foreigners first and more vigorously. There have been some inspectors making the rounds in town. So if you are foreigner here and do anything that produces revenue and income ( like rentals ...), better make sure you do have a Working Permit and a Tax Number to submit your taxes.
