Delicious Asian Food!

We had lunch today at Azia Azul Restaurant in Emiliano Zapata - a 30 minute drive north of La Manzanilla on Hwy 200. We had beautiful saucy chicken satay and a really tender beef dish, and our friends had amazing vegetarian meals with curry and fried rice. Loi the Chef and owner is Vietnamese by way of France, and his wife Margarita is Mexican. He has 3 children, the youngest a very cute 14-month-old girl named Lila. They are such nice people, and the stories are so interesting... Loi has cooked for Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, and Michael Douglas, to name a few. Try it - on the right as you come from La Manz, at Km 39. OPEN 1 pm to 10 pm every day except Thursday. Here is a photo I took today of Loi and Margarita and the view from their restaurant.
