Salsa and Tamales

We got a local lady named Judit to come to our house to help us learn how to make tamales. We served them later at a bonfire after the Salsa class on our roof on Monday night. Judit came and mixed corn masa with rice and oil, and showed us how to press the masa into the corn husks, add fillings, and wrap them. They turned out to be the best tamales we have had in Mexico, and many at the beach bonfire we held after said the same! Thanks to everyone who contributed - here are some pictures of a magical evening of dance and tamales!
