Muchas gracias (eh!) for your input and consejos, Vicki, Valerie & Erin. Yes, the canadian dollar has unfortunately seen a continuing slide against the US dollar of late. According to the website you directed me too Vicki, today a canadian dollar would fetch 11.96 pesos (less your estimated .25 deduction for me being a schmuck and any transaction fee) while the american greenback would pay out 13.32 pesos. I just found out that one of the "tourist" money exchange place here in downtown Victoria would shell out about 11.3 pesos per canuck buck including fee. Pero hoy quien sabe al ATM Banamex? Thanks again for your help/posting - gives me an idea of what to expect...
