Family Wellness Day!

On February 16th come out to the Dia de Bienestar Familiar (Family Wellness Day)! It's an event devoted to health and fitness for our local community. There will be 3 recreational races: - 500m for kids from the primaria with one of their parents, - 2km for kids from the secundaria, and - 5km for anyone 16 years old and up (there are 2 categories for adults). Participants are welcome to run or walk, the most important part is to participate! There will also be informational booths with organizations and businesses who promote health. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a certificate, and the top 3 in each category will receive cash prizes. For more information visit the facebook event page. Only $25 pesos to sign up so please come out to walk or run and support healthy activity in La Manzanilla! Registration starts tomorrow at Activos and Guadalupe's Bike Treks.
