On Monday the 20th of January the person in charge in La Huerta that gives you appointments to have your car checked in Autlan told us that any car no matter how old could be imported. We specifically asked him and showed him our registration for our 1989 Jeep. He said no problem, we just need to get it to the border for importation.
Go figure ?????
Obviously they are making new rules by the minute. He also told us to just pay the fine if we were to get stopped by the Federales.
No Thank you, I'd rather not have that happen.
