Beware of Scam

Here is my version of a scam which has been through La Manzanilla earlier this season. A friendly guy phones us last night and says - "bet you can't guess who this is". I don't recognize his voice, and he won't reveal who he is, except that he knows my name and where I am from. He says he is coming to La Manzanilla tomorrow. One part of his story does not fit however - he is using my given first name, not the name I use. When I tell him this, he hangs up. The scam? He wants me to guess who he is. When I give a name he is going to say, "yes, it's me!", he'd like to see me when he's here. I suspect that the next day I'd get a call from him asking me to send him money because he's stuck somewhere with money transaction or immigration problems. Disturbing as to where he got information of me. So beware.
