The world lost an important person today. Reading back over Pete's life reminds me of the long road American society has traveled since the World Wars, and he was a significant trail blazer. Here's to the music of the human heart championing the cause of freedom everywhere. Pete and his wife Toshi stayed at our house in Milwaukee a few years ago. He worked with Will over the years and was a good friend. Will and I will include some Pete Seeger songs on our COME SING WITH US event, now changed to 7:30 on Wednesday, Feb 12 due to the Festival parade Wednesday Feb 5. Your thoughts and memories of Pete are most welcome.
