So far, Mokitas suggestions or the "globos" are the only possibilities. If the lights were on a sailboat mast it would have to be about 500' feet tall. As for the pastis, it is available at the liquor store off the square in Melaque or at Hawaii. I bought it as a result of reading a favorite author, Peter Mayle, who writes about southern France and reminded me of magical summers in Provence, when pastis was the cheapest, best high in town. The old capitan says "more likely to be a flying red donkey with red balls than the mast light of a sail boat."
