Hi Anne, Thank you for your post. Pro Animal Melaque has rescued dogs and cats from La Manzanilla, Melaque, Cihuatlan and Manzanillo. They have some shelter space and have volunteers who also foster animals while they are awaiting adoption. They vaccinate and spay/neuter all animals before they are given a permanent home for adoption. They do amazing work. I have been volunteering there once per week for a few months now and have gotten involved with them as I've adopted a dog from there last October. Christine is the main person in charge there and if you wanted more specifi information you can contact their Facebook page by messaging them or their web site.
