Anyone know the name of these birds?

They fly together around sunset. They are very little and stay in a group, but not in any kind of formation. They are here and there, up and down. Dark color. We see them flying from our deck at sunset and haven't been able to find out what they are. They are too quick and small to take a picture from up here. I know some wise soul out there will know.
