It's just not true that yields have increased. It's the hype of the bio=tech industry and the governments that support GMO. What is true is that pesticide use has increased substantially in the last 18 years since GMOs have been commercially available.
again, go to nongmoproject.org and start doing some research there and other places and stop believing the propaganda from the people and companies most likely to profit from selling GMO seeds, ingredients and the chemicals used in the agriculture in this technology.
